there is an orfully empty beer fridge here for guests to keep the grog they bring for the host cold. a short walk to the pub in prairie from the air strip but tom says he'll pick us up.
locals also land at the torens creek golf course and taxi over to the back of town and it is about a 100 meters to the hotel there as well.
so there are a heap of places we can go for lunch when we are flying then by the sounds of it. are the other two bringing gyro's?

Why the golf club and then have to walk 100m.....geez why not land outside the pub, I can pararell park just to keep the locals happy. The other 2 students don't have machines yet. Maybe others reading these postings could decide to join the weekend meeting???[Cheesy]

[:X]Hey Jason, they would have to be the oldest set of straight blades in Oz, I wouldn't mind owning them to put on my den wall.

swap me fro a new set?? they are 3000mm long each around 9.85 feet.
i will have to have a better look at them as i haven't done a thing to the gyro since purchasing it 6mth ago.

hoping to have it cleaned up and going to take to blantyre.
not expecting to fly just get some ideas and info.

might ask mark to come and have a look at it for me.   if you have time mark.

quick question from the uninitiated.

do all gyro's need to be registered and do all pilots need a licence.
or is it like the US and ultralight gyro's don't need registering.

any info on this

thanks

[8D] Any guy's out there that are considering going to the get together at "Blantyre" over the easter week, (read numerious postings regarding same )....bring tucker and booze, to buy local costs heaps. A call to the property owner would also help (again read postings) OK see you there.     Safe flying........R
