Hi All

Easter Dates 2010, Good Friday 02 April - Easter Monday 05 April. But I would plan for an extended stay if possible as I am sure Adrian and the boys at SLAC of W.A have a swag of events planned.

Start your planning now as the 2010 ASRA Nat's is just around the corner.

Things are locked in for  a great fly in  2nd April till 5th April

The basic philosophy is KISS - Keeping it Simple & Safe 

Wongan Hills is located 2hrs from Perth in the Wongan- Ballidu Shire.

 Country location so Aerodrome endorsements not required.

Radio is encouraged.
 
2 hours from Perth so people from OS/Eastern states can have easy access.
On airfield camping if required, otherwise motels,hotel or farmstays will be the go.

The airstrip is a 10minute walk from town and the shire will have a bus operating to help shuttle people to near by tourist activities for those that get gyro overload in the early days!

5 days duration, 2 days Comps (usual stuff) 2 days Nav-ex's to interesting places, 1 day  seminars/rest etc. Good Friday till following Tuesday for the National Fly in.

The management team will be at the strip from 1st April Thursday morning for those that wont to arrive early and help with setting things up.

Those of you flying in from NT, SA etc we have plenty of experience flying from those locations so call us for advice.

Advice & suggestions from people about how we can put on a great Fly-In is sought & eagerly awaited.

So start your flight planning, organise your ground crews or just book your tickets and hire car because WA is the place for 2010.

Volunteers to help run the events is also sought.


Start your planning for 2010 - take two weeks and have your annual holiday in WA.

Had another meeting with the Wongan Ballidu shire CEO etc and things continue to be on track for next easter. I thought I would pay a visit to all of the accomadation places to see whats happening.

Those of you thinking of booking accomadation for 2010 Nats at Wongan Hills WA should get in quick as Caravan Park is half full, Guest House only has a few rooms left and the Pub has agreed to hold the few remaing rooms for Gyro/ASRA people.

There will be a camping area for those that want to lay out the swag at the strip but if you want more then those creature comforts - get in quick and book!

Its all happening and time is geting short!
