Our Guide to Flight Rules and Procedures lists many general rules and regs relating to when and where gyroplanes can fly, fueling airmanship, circuit procedures, etc. This page directs you to informative reports and necessary documentation required by ASRA. The Operations Manual is our Bible and every attempt possible is made to update as required. If you wish to make an Application to join ASRA Inc or renew an existing membership, download this Membership and Renewal Application Form, complete and post along with your membership fee. This membership entitles you to operate your gyroplane legally and to receive quarterly issues of the Gyro News. If you do not wish to become a member of ASRA but would like to subscribe to the quarterly magazine, download the ASRA Gyro News Subscription form, complete and post to the ASRA Registrar along with your subscription fee. So that ASRA is able to keep track of all registered gyroplanes in Australia, it is now a requirement to complete a Gyroplane Ownership Transfer Form. This form should be posted to the Technical Manager who administers gyroplane ownership with the ASRA national database. It is a requirement of CASA that all aircraft be registered with the appropriate aviation body therefore it is necessary to complete a Gyroplane Registration form. This form provides ASRA with the necessary information about your gyroplane. This form is to be posted to the ASRA Registrar who in turn issues a Type Acceptance Certificate, in order to be kept up to date with any gyroplane modifications. If you have not already done so, please provide a picture or image of a close up profile of your gyroplane to the Technical Manager. This is to be included within the database. As with any flying organization, each pilot must provide evidence he or she is medically fit to operate and hold a pilot certificate or licence. Solo pilots and students will need to download and submit a Student and Pilots Medical Certificate. Pilots with passenger carrying endorsements must submit either a current Class 2 Pilot Medical certificate or the following, a Medical Examiners Certificate, a Patient Questionnaire, a Clinical Examination form and a Medical Condition Notification form. These last four forms should be printed out before going to the doctor. All ASRA Pilot Certificate holders are required to complete this form in order to comply with the requirements of CASA. F008 Annual Hours Flown Survey In the event of an incident or an accident we must comply by providing detailed information about the occurrence to the Incident Registrar. An Incident and Accident Form is provided for such a purpose. Personal information compiled in this form will remain confidential unless required by acts of common law. The ASRA Treasurer provides facilities for purchases by credit card. You can download the Credit Card Authorisation form to complete and forward accordingly. Finally, we include a link to www.airservicesaustralia.com This will provide you with the current CAO's pertinent to Gyroplane Operations in Australia.
